Click Here For A Brief History of The Andaman Narayanan Temple Project

As part of MyHinduPage's community service, I was in Thailand June 2011 to meet with the committee of the Sree Andaman Narayanan Devasthanam Foundation to discuss the next step of their plans to reconstruct an ancient Hindu Temple complex in the Province of Phang Nga, about two hours away by road from the Island of Phuket in Thailand. This is part of the community service project of The Center for Hindu Studies and MyHinduPage.org. I met with the curator of the Phuket Museum in Thalang, that holds the ancient Lord Narayanan deity, which is about 1,200 years old. The Sree Andaman Narayanan Devasthanam Foundation is looking to restore the temple complex that this deity used to call its home. MyHinduPage.org is part of this effort.
